A great year for Pinot Noir. The Waipara Valley has excelled in this Pinot Noir, a dry and hot harvest allowed the grapes extended time on the vines, resulting in a smooth dry wine that is so versatile with a range of food types from BBQ's, salads and seafood pastas. 13.5% Alcohol.
A wonderful ripening season for Pinot Noir produced from cane and spur pruned grapevines over an extended ripening season, allowing staggered picking dates to contribute to the complexity. A long fermentation in open vats followed by oak barrel aging has drawn out the rich smooth tannins to complement the dark cherry characters.
